Charming Country Setting / Friendly Manager

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our campsite by the manager. We had an open, level site with full hookups. It had a ceramic tile patio with picnic table. We had a good view of the 2.5 acre lake. A variety of sites for both tents and RVs and both open and shaded are scattered throughout the park's 15 acres. None of the sites should have made a camper feel cramped or crowded. Although the country setting and casual layout of this facility may look somewhat primitive the electric, water and sewer connections are modern. I believe that most campers would have a positive experience here even though the swimming pool does not sparkle. Wi-Fi is included and the signal at our site was powerful and fast. A modern coin-op laundry is located in an easily accessible open shed. I was impressed that the manager gave me his phone number and asked me to call him if we needed anything.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Unfortunately, while we were out sightseeing in our motorhome, the Manager gave another camper our prepaid site. Upon our return, he moved us to another site under a tree that blocked our satellite reception. Although we were offered a partial credit as compensation for this inconvenience, nobody was available at their office upon our departure to issue the credit. I've requested reimbursement via check.
