He told me that when they stayed there, the water was so bad that they were not able to drink it. On top of that, the water rotted out their water heater tank! But he also said that that was several years ago.

It now got me a bit worried about that. We'll be staying at a campground in town so I'm guessing that we'll have access to city water. Still, I'd like to ask if the conditions are still the same? If so, how much water would you think I should bring?

When is the best time to go there? Would late September through mid-October be okay, or will it still be too hot? Also, what are the places that are nice to check out while we're in San Antonio?

We're thinking of staying at the Chisos Basin campground which a friend of mine suggested. Has anyone stayed here? Feedback and suggestions of what not to miss are more than appreciated.

We'd really want to head over there and see UF play against Texas A&M during the A&M's inaugural SEC football game.

The lot is currently strewn with decrepit couches that serve as temporary beds for homeless people. Mobile Leaves and Fishes President Alan Graham wants to to change that. 'We want to create an opportunity for people, allow them to get off the streets to heal from the ravages of living off the streets. Let us as a community begin to help them rediscover their purpose in life,' he added.

While some people, such as parents of children who go to school across the street from the lot, have reservations about the proposed Homeless RV Park others see it as a good thing. I'm not opposed to it. I can't see a reason why it wouldn't work. I think it could be positive if it can be contained if you will or just more managed.' said a mechanic who works in close proximity to the lot.
