Do those of you who brave the snow and elements in New England have any particular favorite place to enjoy spending time outdoors with your children in the winter?

This past weekend, I went snowboarding for the first time in Vermont. Some friends and I went to Smugglers' Notch (http://www.smuggs.com), and we had a great time.

It was just under $100 for a two-day ski lift pass. Is there anywhere else in that neck of the woods that is better for the same price or cheaper for the same quality?

Thanks,

It is very New England with the style of homes and white fences. It's right on the Long Island Sound, so there are beaches to check out. A nice place to stop and explore.
