I just wanted to let everyone know that we'll be putting out a Spotlight article on Big Bend National Park later this month. It'll include park info, suggested itinerary, and more.

We hope you all enjoy it, and we'd like to know if there are any other specific national parks that you'd either like to see profiled or think we should.

Thanks,

We're both tent campers and plan to stay at the North Rim campground. Since this is quite a tourist destination, I was wondering if we need to make a reservation? If so, how far in advance do we need to put our reservations? Also, do you have any tent campgrounds you can recommend there?

Quartzsite, Arizona

What do you like/dislike most about Quartzsite?

Free entry to parks on Veteran's Day

To honor America's service men and women, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced that areas managed by the department will not charge entrance fees on Wednesday, November 11, 2009.
