This State Park is about 12 miles from Sault Ste. Marie and has mostly Canadian campers. The campsites are nice - nicer during the week when the crowd thins out. There is a trail system behind the campsites, many sites close to Lake Superior and a beautiful day use picnic area. The drive up the coast toward the lighthouse is very enjoyable and Stacy's Restaurant at the Bay Mill Casino and Hotel is great for breakfast. The restrooms were quite old and a buggy but the showers had great water pressure.
