The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the RV Park is great. Sites are large, easy in and out for big rigs. Riverfront parking gives way to great views of the “Mighty Mississippi." Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We've stayed at Tom Sawyer's three times. Great customer service. Every time we have come here we've chosen to stay a few days longer than planned. It's not a fancy campground, but it is quiet, neat and clean. The river is most interesting to watch in all types of light - morning, afternoon and especially sunrise and sunset! Electric is reliable and we have no problems with water or any other hookups. We will be back.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Right ON the wild river

We are a full-time RV family. This place was full of wild birds, with killdeer even nesting in our camp site! (Please watch your step if you go here). The Mississippi River was about 20 feet from our rig. Our site was large and out in the open, but there are some sites under the trees farther back from the water. Really fun watching the fast flowing river, debris and all, with large barges going by ever so often. The swallows diving and swooping over the water was a delight to see. With a little searching, you can find many walking trails, where you can see deer at the right time of day. There was a nice laundry, though it was on a second level out of necessity since the whole area is a flood plain. The staff was very friendly, and they pick up your garbage at your rig every day. Easy drive into Memphis.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
