Stayed on site #53 in a trailer. Site was large. All sites are first come first served. This is a large park with lots of site choices from shaded to open. Did not use any of the facilities other than the onsite water and electric. Cable TV is the only option since over the air, TV is not accessible. Verizon cell and hotspot internet worked well. The park is located a short walk from downtown. Nice dog run on the west side of the park and they are allowed on beach. Access to the lake is limited to multiple staircases but it all works out just fine and the beach is well worth the effort. We would stay here again!

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

We didn't actually stay here. It was extremely crowded. When parks are too crowded they feel like refugee camps to me and my wife. I had seen pictures of the campground that made the place look more attractive than it was. The surrounding are is spectacular just outside the park and Grand Marais is charming. The showers and restrooms looked good and clean.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.
