Very well kept campground

Campground was clean, we had a premium back-in site with concrete pad. The bathroom looks old from the outside but was very clean. Brand new playground for the kids and staff was very friendly.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

A functional campground for visiting Acadia NP

Smuggler's Den is a very basic campground, but it worked well for us as a parking space for our RV while we went off to visit Acadia National Park. The site we got wasn't as big as we wanted to and wasn't a pull-thru, but we managed. It's very woodsy here, and many trees have low-lying branches. Full hookups available, with cable TV and wi-fi. The grounds are clean enough and while we didn't use the bathhouse, we saw that it badly needs updating. All we needed was a place to park our RV and we got that here.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
