| Beware of snakes but great hiking | |
Stayed here last year. It was a bit of a challenge to get there because of the road repairs. But you can always ask around for directions if you lose your way. There are a lot of campsites here. Many of them are quite narrow (like slot 38 which was given to us) and some are not that shaded. The nice thing is that there are lots of great hiking trails with awesome views. Our favorite was the Burkhart Trail which is about 3-4 miles roundtrip. It leads to Cooper Canyon Falls. Just be careful going through here since its downhill. Also, make sure that you keep a lookout for snakes. During our hike, we came across a few, and I nearly stepped on one rattler. It's definitely a good idea to bring your snake kit along when hiking, just in case.
We stayed here in a Tent. | | | Comments (0) |
