Beautiful, quiet and small campground.

This is a wonderful campground for tents and smaller RVs and trailers. The sites are pretty roomy with a fire ring/grill, picnic table, and a tent pad. There are a lot of big trees for shade. The campground has an amphitheater where there are nightly ranger programs in the summer months. Ice and firewood are sold between 5-7:30pm at a very reasonable cost. The restrooms were clean though they could use a few more hooks to hang belongings on. There are utility sinks at the restrooms where you can do your dishes. At night all you can hear is the wind through the trees and the sound of the creek which flows by the campground. Having camped in both Moraine Park and Glacier Basin campgrounds, I loved how small Aspenglen is and the fact that it wasn't dominated by huge RVs that blocked your view. Being a campground run by the National Park and not a concessionaire, there are no hook-ups but potable water is available. We loved camping there!

We stayed here in a Tent.
