| Few trees due to last hurricane | |
Used to have lots of trees but Hurricane Wilma took most of them out about 10(?) years ago, so few sites have any shade. Only the last 3 camping loops each have a couple of sites with decent trees and shade. The last loops are closest to the gun range, so I don't know what time the range opens and the shooting starts (for you late sleepers).
Very nice park in all other ways. They have a model airplane field where some people bring seriously large model planes; nice playgrounds; doggie park near the campground area.
