We live locally and enjoy boating but in 2013 it cost $7.00 to $9.00 (depends on who is the cashier) for 3 people and a boat. Now it has literally doubled to $15.00.

We had a jet ski but after being warned by a ranger that we could only operate in the jet ski area we sold it. The jet ski area can be covered in less than 15 seconds from a dead stop while the rest of the waters can be ran by boats. They also will not allow you to launch a jet ski at the boat ramp, instead I had to back to the "jet ski" launch and sink my truck bumper into the water and wonder if I was going to get stuck since there is so much mud. A jet ski is NOT worth taking.

Bad campground

We have camped at Flint Creek WP for many years and have always paid a "reasonable" fee for what we received. The bathrooms have always needed upgrading but now they are filthy and are not kept up. The fee of $30.00 per night is absolutely outrageous for what they provide. The sites are always dirty (never cleaned off), fire-pits full of trash, and they have had someone with a bush-hog go in around the sites and chop or partially chop down brush and good side trees which left a completely dangerous mess! He even hit a TV control box and grill and chopped them up too.

I will never camp there again unless they can lower their fees and clean things up. A lot of other campers we talked to felt the same.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
