Great Place! Cheap Weekend Getaway

This place is a real bargain. The interior roads are in good shape, the campground is kept super clean and the lawns manicured. We had a site right on the river for $23 a night (no discounts for us, yet). If you have a boat or canoe/kayak, this would be an awesome place to go. I will say that there are only 3 minor cons to consider:
1. There are some steep grades the last 10 miles or so before you get to the campground. I recommend good visibility coming in if you are unfamiliar.
2. Dumpstation, no sewer at the sites. Power and water, only... no biggie for a weekend warrior.
3. I think it was an older campground laid out before the rigs got as big as they are now. Can be a little tight backing into some of the sites. Also, make sure the site you book is big enough for your rig as there are a wide variety of sizes. This are sites big enough for anything, just make sure you have reserved the right one.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
