This small generator-free campground is located 2.5 miles down a dirt road, five miles east of Tower Junction, along the banks of Slough Creek. Campsites are on a first-come, first-serve basis and due to size and popularity of this campground, it is suggested that you arrive early in the day.
Some sites are located under the tree canopy while others are in an open sage meadow. Campsites are best suited for tents and small RVs. Slough Creek is considered a primitive campground with nearest amenities about 8 miles away. Potable water is available from two hand pumps and restroom facilities are vault toilets.
Backcountry permits and general hiking information are available at the Tower Ranger Station. Periodic evening interpretive programs are offered at the Tower Falls Campground ampitheater, two miles south of Tower Junction.
