Local Directions: Turn on UT 313, approximately 10 miles north of Moab or 22 miles south of I-70. Follow the road 22 miles to the entrance to Canyonlands National Park - Island in the Sky district. Continue on the park road approximately 7 miles. Make a right turn toward Upheaval Dome, and follow signs to the campground.

| Great for watching sunsets | |
The campground is just a short walk to the Green River Overlook in Canyonlands. The views here are magnificent and it's perfect for watching romantic sunsets. It's also very quiet and peaceful here, and while the campground doesn't have water, the staff here do keep it pristine. If you're staying here, remember to stock up on water and supplies beforehand.
