We have a three-year-old daughter and she really enjoyed the flag raising, golf cart parade, talent show, and feeding the goats ... the activities directors and most of the camp staff are really great. I think the administration could be a lot better; huge lack of communication a few times, and more than once we encountered an employee who didn't know how to handle a request. Also, the lots need to be seriously graded because being in two different lots over the course of 10 days, we realized that the sites are uneven front-back/side-side. It's typical in mountain areas where heavy rain and snow runoff grabs the soil and runs with it. Also, the "all you can eat" pancake breakfast isn't fabulous; the kitchen is tiny and only two cooks can fit, and we saw people standing in line for seconds for at least 20 minutes. They also claim that the pool is heated but it is FUH-REEEEEZING!!! And that was on a 95-degree day! : )
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer. | | Comments (0) |

| Nice, clean park, friendly staff | |
This is a campground for families with children (which we do not have). Lots of activities for the kids. Camp is located in the foothills of the Rockies and the beautiful views were obscured by overgrown shrubbery. Breakfast is available every morning in the registration building. We felt it was expensive for the amenities we did not use. Train track is located immediately in front of the park with plenty of trains which is not mentioned on their web-site. The train whistles are minimal but you can hear the trains go by if you are located in the front half of the park.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |
