Local Directions: From I-86/Rt 17 in New York: Take exit 79 (Windsor). Proceed south (right off of exit ramp) onto Rt 79; contrary to many GPS directions, DO NOT turn right onto Piper Hill Rd shortly after leaving the town of Windsor. Continue on Rt 79 for approximately 3½ miles, and turn right onto Edson Rd (there will be a Lakeside sign). After approximately 2½ miles, take a left onto Hargrave Rd (there will be another camping sign), and you will arrive at Lakeside on your left after approximately 1 mile.
