Local Directions: Proceed east on Highway 168 which is 1/2 mile north of Big Pine. After 11.5 miles (a couple miles after you have gone through the "narrows") there will be a left turn into the campground - follow the signs at that point. If you gotten to the turn off to the bristlecone pine forest (The White Mtn Road) you have gone about 1/2 mile too far.
