Very peaceful!

We just stayed here the last week of July and first week of August. It was very peaceful and a great place to camp. The Camp hosts were very nice and helpful also. Will go back again. The sites were all very clean and accessible. Outdoor toilets were very clean toilets with motion detector lights on the interior. No showers, they have fire rings and firewood you can purchase or you can scavenge for your own. North Clear Creek runs down one side of the camp, and the North Clear Creek Falls is about 2 miles from the camp.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet & solitary campground with creek and fishing

We didn't stay here in July 2015. The drive to get to it took the wind out of our sails because of the extensive bark beetle damage to this part of the Rio Grande National Forest.
The photos I have posted show that the grounds are unaffected so others might enjoy these sites. We drove through the grounds to snap photos and it seems to be a very quiet and solitary area which matches the USFS description for this campground.
North Clear Creek does not run right next to most of the campsites, but is very close by and easily accessible.
The fishermen with whom we stopped and chatted said the fishing was poor due to muddy water at the time, but angler shopkeepers say it's normally good fishing.
North Clear Creek Falls is just a few minutes drive from here & totally worth seeing. We saw it in afternoon backlit light. Morning light should be much better for viewing and photographing.
