Local Directions: I-75 south of Marietta, exit to GA-280, west 1/2 mile to Dobbins Air Reserve Base. Big rigs must use Gate 2 located on back side of Air Base. From Gate 2 to Famcamp area, it is only 1.6 miles to the Famcamp. When you enter Gate 2 follow sign to Base Exchange. Keep left on Atlantic Ave., you will drive through the aircraft crossing. You will soon see the Exchange on your left and also you will see some RV's parked on your right. Turn on your first right which is Lake Circle, and immediately turn right again. The only sign on this turn is one that said "playground". If you are towing a car this will be the best place to unhook.

	A Convenient Military Park

We have stayed here a couple of times on our way north and south. The bad thing about this park is it is close to the runway and the hangers so sometimes there is a lot of plane noise. Any traffic around Atlanta is crazy and getting on and off this base is no different. The spots are nestled among the trees. We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
