We made a major mistake when we booked 2 full hook up sites for the week of July 19, 2020. We asked if sites were level as advertised with 50 amp service. We were told yes. What a surprise when we got there after hours, store closes at 4PM Sundays.
Management came by Monday morning to see how things were going and I asked why we did not get a 50 amp service with steady voltage. I showed Jim my meter swinging erratically and showed him my HXXXXX Autoformer trying to resolve the many issues of the site. A jumper was employed to steady the voltage swings from an adjoining site, but did nothing for boosting the amperage up . Jim stated 2 - 30 amp service leads equal 50 amp service. Rather than argue with him after showing 30 amp outputs, I inquired about refunding our stay as sites were not level as advertised, but his reply was, "No, campground has level sites and refunds were not available as sites were as advertised." Having a Large 45' Diesel pusher motorhome, I have 3 rooftop ACs and had to run my 50 amp generator during the day to cool the MH and protect my pet from overheating from the 90+ degrees days when we went exploring the area. In the evenings I could switch to the 30 amp service coming into the MH and
have you ever heard of a campground with no picnic tables or fire rings at the sites? A fire ring could be rented with firewood. Not pet friendly, small fenced area and no exercise area. Definitely a 1 and done.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Flood Zone, Terrible Customer Service

Beware of the weather. Located in a flood zone. No electrical disconnect. No concern of safety for campers. Management was notified by Sherriff's Office and Fire Department that flash flooding was coming and they did not care about anyone in the campground. We woke up at 2:30 a.m. flooded in knee deep water. Some people's cars were under water. We went and woke up as many people as we could so they could get out. The management says it was our responsibility to know about the weather and the possibility of flooding even though we drove 1200 miles to stay there. We were not familiar with the area or the issues. Fire rescue came to the campgrounds because of the people that were tenting. They were not warned either and had a very rude awakening when their tents filled up with water. No respect for the RVs or Cars and Trucks. Just oh well you should have known.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
