| Tricky turns, a nice place | |
There is construction around I57 at all exits in Marion (Dec 2014) making GPS instructions for this campground useless. CALL FOR CURRENT ROUTING.
We have family in the area so we stay in this park several times a year. It is friendly and well-maintained with clean restrooms, showers and laundry, pull through and fairly wide sites. All sites are level and some are shaded.
Great place to stay if you need a base for exploring Southern Illinois. Only negative is noise - construction and traffic from I57. You won't feel like you're boondocking here.
