Local Directions: From IH 35: Take Exit 205 to Hwy 80 South. Go 13 miles to FM 20, make a right. (There is a flashing yellow light and a Valero gas station at this turn). On FM 20 go about 4/10 mile to CR 125/S. Main, make a left. Entrance to the park is on the right. From IH 10 (San Antonio): Take Exit 628. At stop sign make left on to Hwy 80 North. Going into the town of Luling, 2 miles. At traffic light after railroad tracks, Hwy 80 turns left, going towards San Marcos. Stay on 80 N for 8 miles to Fentress. Turn left on CR 125. There is a large billboard on the corner. Entrance to the park is on the left.

	Very good park

We'd stay again here. It's on the San Marcos River. Lots of people were kayaking, rafting and tubing. We parked in lot 118 where we could get satellite service. In Fentress is Frank's restaurant which had great food. We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

This park should take Resort out of their name and replace it with Retirement Village. If you are younger than 65, don't stay here. They have more rules that make it where you can't have fun without a retiree complaining to management. Speaking of management, they do not have customer service. They will see only one side of the story. They accuse you of doing things that disrupt "quiet time" that did not happen. They take your money agreeing with you, only to kick you out before your time is up without giving any money back. The manager and the weekend security are outright rude and change their stories at the convenience! The place is 31+ years old and is run down. It takes management longer than customary to repair faulty amenities. Security? They only operate the security gate during peak months. The "bath house" was deplorable. The other showers were small and coin operated. The RV park allows cab-over campers to be placed on jacks and call them RVs. Some RVs are covered with blue tarp due to leaks. The sites are too close together and some do not have concrete slabs, only mud. Different times throughout the day and night the place reeks of sulphur and sewage making it impossible to open your windows or enjoy the outdoors. If you are looking for a place to have fun and enjoy your spare time and enjoy the outdoors, this place is not for you. Stay someplace else. We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
