| No road noise from I-80, a rarity for a KOA | |
Most recent stay was 6/16/16. We camped in a little rig, Tear Drop style RV, only 15' long w/o toilet or shower. We like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection. We rely on condition of campground facilities near our site, so our critique is focused in that area.
We’re right across the road from the restroom/showers. It’s an older 50’s type facility, clean & neat. Shower stalls are private with glass doors and very tight 3x3, I think and same with the adjacent changing area with a little stool/bench for seating, plus rubber floor mat for feet as you exit shower. It has a couple of hooks, but would like to see shelves added for your stuff. Also, need hooks and shelves at the shared sink/vanity area. Updating the place including new fixtures would do wonders.
This is Wyoming after all and is more of a campground, not an RV Park per se. Gravel roadways and somewhat roomy, level mixed gravel & grass site pads with picnic table. Large pull through site can accommodate big rigs. Some staggered back to back back-in sites. Grounds include rental cabins and clean swimming pool. Tent sites are all on flat ground. We’ve been here 4 times now and will be back.

Conveniently located. Grass and gravel spots. Nice pool. Limited store. No cable. Good wifi. Nice staff. Pet friendly. Quiet. Diesel one mile away in quaint town of Lyman.
