Local Directions: Traveling North on 1-95, get off at exit 39 in Newport. Go left off the exit ramp. Go north on routes 7, 11, 23 then left on to route 6 and 15 to Rockwood. In Rockwood, watch for Moose River on right, cross Moose River bridge onto the dirt road. Bear right on that main road. Do not take any of the many side roads. It is 32 miles to the campground. Drive until you reach a stop sigh and take a right. Stay on that road the rest of the way (13 miles). Please drive with caution. There may be logging trucks and moose on these roads.
