If you want to get close to nature, you should go to Wekiwa Springs State Park. We enjoyed our stay here. There are a lot of trails good for hiking, biking and horseback riding, and they are all clean and well maintained. Nice tree cover on these trails too. It's also close to the river and you can rent a canoe. Best time to canoe is in the morning when the local kids are still in school, otherwise the river is busy with kids. The grounds and bathhouse are also clean and well maintained and the sites are big and shady. No sewer hookups, wifi or cable, but they've got a good cellphone and antenna reception here. Rangers were friendly folk. There's a bit of road noise, but we didn't mind. We're definitely coming back here soon.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
