	Very good park

For someone passing through - This was a very nice park. The park had very good 50amp power and good water. The shad trees are very important on those hot days of summer. We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

	Good homebase for a Kansas vacation

If you're planning to have a family vacation in Kansas, this campground is a good homebase. It provides good access and is close to two state parks. The sites are all pull-thru and level with nice grassy spots and a shade tree or two. The restrooms and showers are very clean and so is the laundry room although it can be difficult to get any laundry done when the campground is full because they only have two pairs of washers and dryers available. The staff are friendly enough. They've got full hookups but no cable TV. Internet can be sporadic. We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

Pleasantly surprised! Park was well maintained. Virtually all sites have mature, well established shade trees. Park was serene and peaceful. Cornfields on two sides of park really give it that country feel. Has a community gathering spot, indoor and out. They offer two very nice horseshoe pits, swings for the kids, dog walking area including the "fire hydrant" for Fido! Sites are gravel and level. Park has WIFI, however it was down during our stay due to previous storm that marched thru the area prior to our arrival. Additionally, the park has laundry facilities. Nightly rate was reasonable. We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
