We paid $36.00 a night after taxes for water and electric. This was for my wife, myself, and two pugs. The campground and bathrooms were clean. The individual sites were on the small side. I was thankful we only had a popup. He did have a few pull-thrus for bigger RVs. Sam definitely runs a tight ship in his campground as there was an entire page of rules to follow. Nothing unreasonable though. The water hookup I didn't feel it was confusing as another reviewer stated, however it was inconvenient. I need 35ft. of hose to reach my camper. The bathrooms include showers that you have to pay for and you cannot adjust the water temp. (Check out pictures). Our two day was decent.

We stayed here in a Popup Trailer.

Do NOT have a disagreement with Sam, he's quick to lose his temper.

When I brought it to Sam's attention that his water supply was confusing...electricity was directly behind the site, but the water supply was down onto the next site behind our neighbor's picnic table...I suggested that we owed him for electricity only. "Anybody can tell which was our water," he told me. I'm happy we had our own supply of water for the evening, but his placement was the most confusing on our 5500 mile tour with stays in over 15 different RV camps located through this campground location site. The least that Sam could do is to mark his supplies with the number of the particular site. We do want to return to Bayfield for a more thorough visit, but we will chose a different campground.
