We stayed here a few years ago in July when there was a drought going on in S. Georgia and N. Florida. At this point the Swannee River was dry. No water at all. We had our dog water bowl outside our camper door and I had gone to the edge of the site to take photos of our camper. A while later our friend came over and asked who the visitor was lying in our site. It was a dead rattle snake that was trying to get to the dog bowl and had come right where I was standing and must have died of thirst because it was so hot. Over 100 degrees outside. I enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
