We visited this park on a whim... I got assigned a spot and as soon as I turned off the main road I knew I had made a mistake. The road to the campsites was very narrow with trees coming right up to the edge of the pavement. My seat puckered trying to navigate getting to my site. It was a very nice large level site just scary getting into the site.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

Nice park - but beware of ticks

On the plus side, this state park has nice, roomy sites with lots of shade. The place is clean and the bathrooms look sparkling and new. The park has a rustic feel and it's very quiet here. The nature trails are great for exploring and the views are awesome. Electricity and water are available, but not cable or wi-fi. The only problem we had while staying here are the ticks. They're just terrible. Otherwise, we had a relaxing time staying here.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
