| Okay For an Overnight Stopover, But Not Much Else | |
Sandwiched between Highway A1A and a busy freight train track, this is not a place to find a really quiet night's sleep. During mid-December when we stayed here, freight trains passed by at least once an hour. The treeless campsites are clean and paved, have water and electric hookups and this state park is reasonably convenient to I-95. Charges for camping aren't too bad but Florida offers much nicer parks for the same or lower rate. This campground is good for an overnight stopover, but I would not want to stay here for more than that.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome. | | | Comments (0) |
