Local Directions: To drive to J&J Smart Charter and Deep Creek View Campground from Anchorage, take the Seward Highway. At the junction of the Seward and Sterling Highways take a right towards Homer, Alaska, on the Sterling Highway. We are located in Ninilchik, which is halfway between Soldotna and Homer on Mile 136.2, Sterling Highway. Once in Ninilchik, take a right at our signs (“J&J Smart Charters and Campground”) onto Julia Steik Avenue (directly across from the State Fairgrounds). Take a right at the top of the hill on Shy Maiden Circle (16215 Shy Maiden Circle, Ninilchik–formerly Erickson Avenue). The campground is located on the left.
