Most people staying at this park are here for the fishing. There are picnic areas and a playground. We did encounter a fair number of mosquitoes even though the area is regularly sprayed.

The FHU sites at Potholes State Park are well designed in a set of spoke patterns which makes for easy backing in. Our site backed up to a natural area. In the grass behind us a Kildeer had a nest and guarded it well. It was great fun watching the Kildeer pair taking turns sitting on the nest.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.
