A very popular park. Lots of interesting stuff to see and do. Each season has its unique side. Facilities were well-maintained. Can get a bit crowded especially in winter.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

The park is small but situated right in the middle of red rock formations. Great places to hike from the campground. The facilities are nice, but the setting is magnificent.

We stayed here in a Tent.

We stay here once or twice per year. The nicest spots are the ones in the rocks without hookups. Spring and fall are very nice.

We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

A gem in the desert

This State Park is one of our favorite winter stops. It's a state park in the desert so there are no amenities like swimming pools and golf courses, but this is a great place to enjoy nature, take hikes and go on bike rides. The sites are large and have electric and water hookups. It doesn't have sewer or cellphone signals. It's only an hour away from Las Vegas, but it feels isolated nonetheless. The best time to visit is in winter when the weather is cool and when the sunsets are more dramatic.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
