Well-Equipped State Campground Offers an Exceptional Value

September 30, 2012
Although this campground is off the beaten path, it's worth the drive. We arrived at dusk on September 29th without a reservation, were invited to drive through the water/electric hookup section to choose a campsite we liked and return to register. The campsites are in a beautiful, rolling landscape offering both open and shaded locations. Water and 30-amp hookups were available in section B. We could not have asked for a quieter or more attractive setting and received a senior-citizen discount off the already low rates. The magnificent lake, fishing pier, birds and other wildlife added to our positive experience. Highly recommended.
We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
