This TN state park is a short drive of I-40. Reservations can and should be made online as this park quickly fills with locals in the summer months. Open year-round, it has very level gravel sites with full hookups that can accommodate RV's of all sizes, though rigs longer than 40' may find some of the turns very tight. There are several sites along the creek that are very nice. Tent sites are level and located under the trees. Heated restrooms are open year round as is the lodge with excellent buffets. There are numerous trails and a new mountain bike area. Several historical sites and three lakes for boating, fishing and swimming. A nice 18-hole golf course is also located in the park with club and cart rentals. Tennessee state parks offer discounts for seniors, military and the disabled. This is a perfect place to camp in the early spring.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
