One of the nicest campgrounds on the East Coast

I strongly believe that Buck Pond Campground is one of the best campgrounds in the East Coast. And I've been to a lot of them, too. The sites are large, level and far apart. Some sites even have their own pathways to the lake. The place is clean and well-cared for, and the rangers manning this place are friendly. Couldn't ask for anything more.

We stayed here in a Tent.

Stayed here Labour Day 2009. Good mix of sites good for small rvs and tents. Nice small hikes. Clean facilities. Also lots of water sites and saw people swimming and fishing in the lake. Close to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Firewood easily available on roads nearby. Town nearby has nice convenience/ fun vintage clothing store.
