Great family getaway

This campground is beautiful, right within a redwood forest, and the staff seem to work hard to maintain its natural appeal. We had to reserve our spot a year ahead, but the wait was worth it. The playground is great, they've got working water and electric, and the bathrooms and laundry are squeaky clean. Not having a clear cellphone signal here may annoy you if you need to be connected, but that didn't matter for us. The campground doesn't have sewer hookups, but they've got a dumpsite, althoughg you have to wait a little for the drain to work. Also, it's dark here at night, so be careful if you have to drive around after dark. But it was worth the wait for us, and we've already reserved our spot for next year.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

WE had one of the sites backing onto the stream and it was great. MAkes you feel like you are finally part of nature. Kids went crazy on the playground.
