Greater than Great

It is hard to get a reservation in this park. But worth the effort and the number of tries. The tram makes it possible to not need a vehicle to get around. Sometimes it is hard to get backed into the sites because of tree locations and other vehicles parked on the road. Anything that Disney does is going to cost you. Disney Village is close by and does not cost anything to just go wander around.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

It's Disney

What can I say. It's Disney, and they do everything well. The staff is friendly, helpful and always on the job. When I couldn't figure out how to get my TV to pick up their channels, they sent a tech right out. I had told them that in the morning would be fine but he was there in less than 30 minutes. The park is kept spotless and the bathhouses are spacious and clean as well. The biggest point to me is that this is the cheapest way to enjoy all the perks of staying at a Disney resort with easy access to the theme parks. Access to other attractions in the Orlando area isn't too hard once you learn your way around. On the Disney property, transportation is free. My only complaint might be the size of the sites at these prices but that is offset by the presence of landscaping in between. Also, older folks like us have to remember that screaming kids is just part of the package. We once tried to stay in one of the cheaper sites to see how inexpensively we could do it but when we arrived they had given us a free upgrade and who could say no to free.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Expensive but worth it

Staying at this Disney facility is a bit more pricey than staying at other campgrounds but it's worth it. We got the privilege of getting into the park an hour earlier than the other customers, so we take that as an hour's worth of extra fun for the kids. The campground itself is immaculate. There are maintenance crews about nearly all the time, sweeping, doing repairs and whatnot. These crews are very friendly. I wish I could say the same for the people manning the front desk. Wi-fi and cable TV available, cable TV has a mix of different language channels. Our stay is definitely worth the extra bucks I paid for.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

Good location if going to Disney

This is located with relatively easy access to any of the Disney facilities. The sites were relatively spacious and partially shaded with good facilities. The campground is very busy, so you will want to be aware of that to watch out for your kids. It's also a very big campground with little car parking so that adds a bit of a challenge to enjoy all the facilities. It is clean and well maintained and comparable in price to campgrounds outside of Disney. It is quite a distance from here to other places in Orlando if you're doing things other than Disney

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

Fort Wilderness is a beautiful, full service campground in the heart of Disney World. Once park in one of the spacious campsites you can use Disney transportation, boat or bus, to get around to the theme parks and other resort hotels. A very special place to stay.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
