"Great park with large sites"
Livin the good life

This park has large angled sites with lots of room between each RV. Mostly shaded sites on mostly pull - throughs. Staff is very helpful and prepared to assist you to your site. Pool was not heated during our stay in late Sept. Also very shallow, only about four feet deep.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

We were here over Thanksgivings 2013 and even though it was cold we enjoyed our stay. This is a great park and if you look at how it came to be it is an interesting story. A few miles away there is a train ride that consists of a locomotive that was restored from one that was found in the undergrowth from when this park was a rock quarry. There are some passenger cars that are being restored to be used as overnight accommodations. Some of the permanent campers have really made their sites beautiful.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

Good Sam rates this park a 10, 10*, 10 ajd that doesn't say it all. We we here over Thanksgiving. The park threw a sit down dinner and provided turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy. Guests provided a dish to feed eight. Seating was set up in the clubhouse for 216, and the place was full. There are a lot of year-round residents - current price is $3600/year! The park is expanding and gorgeous.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.

This campground is excellent. There's no other way to describe it. The sites are very roomy and surrounded by trees. They can easily fit big rigs with space to spare. There are full hookups available. The wi-fi works decently and they've got a good selection of channels on the cable. The grounds are neat and clean. The bathrooms and laundry room are spotless and it looks like the fixtures are new. The staff are very friendly. My only complaint is that there isn't much to do here. It would be nice if they have amenities like playgrounds.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
