Rudest owner ever

The campground itself is quite lovely, wooded and quiet. But I have to agree with the previous reviewer. The owner is rude, abusive, and threatening. It seemed that by coming in late and not registering then (with his wife's approval) plus coming to do so a hour after their check out time was a major offense. I had planned to stay another day but changed my mind when he became so rude and demanded I pay for another day anyway. I've just completed a 6 week, 6,000 mile cross county trip, my third in the last 5 years and I have never been treated this way at any other RV park. Most all are more than willing to bend the rules in the name of customer service and good will. This guy said if I didn't pay for the second day he'd call the sheriff. As I pulled out he chased after me shouting insults.

We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome.

I had the WORST camping experience of my life. The facilities and the actual campground were acceptable. However, I have never been treated so rudely and unprofessionally by a business owner. My group stayed two nights of which the first night passed uneventfully. The second night on the other hand we were approached right as we were going to bed and accused of a litany of false accusations including honking horns and being rude to campers who approached us although we had seen no one all night. We then went to bed only to be awoken at 8:45 in the morning to the owner blaring his horn on his truck and tells us to get out of his campground or he would call the sheriff. Apparently according to the owner we had not gone to bed but instead stayed up all night and continued to be a nuisance. This claim was again completely untrue. So we were forced to leave at 9 am even though we had paid until 11 am. I will NEVER go back to this establishmen

We stayed here in a Tent.
