| Great place to stay when visiting DC | |
Must be self contained because there are no hookups. The shower is good and has lots of hot water. For those visiting the capitol, the Metro is close and easy to use. During weekends there are no parking fees. Make sure and use the smart card for Metro fees. It gives you $1 reduction each trip. They also have a senior card that saves more. Would stay again.

We had so many problems getting to this park, I had a flat tire, then we started blowing fuzes then the battery ran down so one of our club members charged my battery with his generator. We took a tour of the Goddard space flight center.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer. | | Comments (0) |

Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Cafe is good. RV spots are a little close, but overall not a bad place to stay; it's clean, and they recycle. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

| Dry camping only but location is good | |
The campground has no hookups, so be prepared for dry camping. It does have a dump station and fresh water, and one of the bathrooms has a shower. It's a first come, first served campground so come early if you want to stay here. Location is great for visiting the DC area and has easy access to the beltway. Very rustic place with lots of trees, although these trees aren't as well trimmed as I'd like. No internet or cable, but gets good cellphone signal. Sites are not that level but are very big. | | Comments (0) |
