A small campground with tight sites

If you have a big rig, you will want to think twice about staying at this park. The sites are too small so you probably won't have a lot of space around your rig. Parking and maneuvering your rig will be a challenge too. Other than the size of the sites, the campground itself is adequate for short stays. There are full hookup sites available, but most of them are taken by permanent residents. These permanent residents are nice people, though, and they keep their spots neat and clean. There's wi-fi but no cable TV. The people at the office are among the friendliest I've ever met.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

More of a mobile park than campground

More than half of the sites in this campground are occupied by seasonal and permanent residents, and they occupy most of the FHU sites. The sites are not really big-rig friendly so if your RV is big, you'll have problems backing in and you may not be able to use your slideouts. The sites are grassy and not very level, with a very noticeable slope. The place is very clean, though. They've got wi-fi but no cable TV. Nothing much for the kids to do here. If you're just looking for a base for touring Newport and other nearby sights, it's good enough. But for long holidays, you're better off elsewhere.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
