	Beautiful park

If you want to be in a quiet out of the way park near the Gulf of Mexico, this is the park. The concrete sites are nice and level. The park is clean and the restrooms are kept spotless. The Colorado River runs beside the park so there are about 12-15 water front sites. The Gulf is a short walk away with a nice long fishing pier. The LCRA has managed it for 1 year (prior was a concessionaire). The park has two lighted fishing piers and a cleaning station. It is away from town and have been told the GPS was not accurate. We had to buy drinking water and bring groceries with you since the small local grocery is about 10 min. away. The peninsula is known for having a variety of birds. A couple of restaurants and a bait shop are near the park. There is a small playground near the nature park. During the summer months reservations are a must. We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
