Local Directions: From Phoenix, AZ: Follow I-17 N, US-89 N, and US-160 E to Monument Valley Rd in Oljato-Monument Valley. Merge onto I-17 N/US-60 W. Continue to follow I-17 N - 140 mi. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 340A to merge onto I-40 E toward Albuquerque - 5.6 mi. Take exit 201 toward US-89 N/Page - 0.3 mi. Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto US-180 W/Country Club Dr - 0.5 mi. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto US-89 N. Pass by Pizza Hut (on the left in 0.3 mi) - 46.7 mi. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit and stay on US-89 N - 15.6 mi. Turn right onto US-160 E - 82.0 mi. Turn left onto US-163 N. Entering Utah - 23.7 mi. Continue on Monument Valley Rd. Drive to Goulding's Trading Post Rd.

This campground has everything a camper and RVer would need. We picked a great spot at the lower tent camping area for the view east to see the monuments. The sun highlighted in the evening, several times, on the walls in this narrow valley for and electrifying effect. A short hike from camp is a hidden arch.

Spaces were nice and fairly level. We were across from tent sites. Inside showers closed pretty early but others available but pretty steamy. Swimming pool was very nice. Laundry was a little expensive.
