We have stayed at Betty's several times. Do not let the appearance fool you, It's not the place, but the people that makes Betty's so unique. Betty is the epitome of the congenial host. The region's food, music, and scenery bring patrons of Betty's back year after year and lasting friendships are made. Do not miss being caught in "Betty's web."

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.

A fun place to be

If this were any other campground, I'd give it just one star. It's just one big parking lot, doesn't have bathrooms, showers or laundry rooms. There's free WiFi, though, and the sites are tightly packed with gravel. Also, no cable TV. What makes this campground worth the visit is Betty herself. She's a fun, vivacious person who has lots of useful advice even for experienced RVers. Her Happy Hours are great for meeting people and sharing stories with fellow adventurers on the road.

We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Very little in the way of facilities (no pool, hot tub, washrooms, etc) but amazing hospitality and superb camaraderie with other guests - most of whom are repeat visitors.

Happy hour every day at 4.30, and Betty is keen to make sure you enjoy seeing the area (lots to see) and also arranges trips for her guests to places she knows they will enjoy.

Most other campground owners could learn a lot from Betty - it's not necessarily about plush campgrounds with every amenity known to man - it's about enjoying your time there.

We stayed here in a 5th Wheel.
