Right across the street from the best milk shakes!

Dry camping in the tall pines is always welcome, especially in the summer. Campground is way cooler than anything on either the Arizona or Utah side of the elevation. Good, paved roads, variety of sites suitable for any size recreation vehicle or tent. They closed a loop that went deeper into the forest quite a few years ago. Not sure why but he remaining ones are just fine. Attentive camp hosts. Clean but not sparkling vault toilets. Water spigots and dumpster available. Jacob Lake store across the street for the tastiest milk shake you've ever had and lots of Indian Rugs to look at or even purchase! Small selection of groceries and a decent restaurant as well.
We stayed here in a Class B Motorhome.

This campground is excellent if you don't mind living without hookups. The sites are very roomy and have lots of space in between. There are a lot of good shade trees. The bathrooms are clean and well-lit at night. I just wish they've got a dump station and water. We had to drive back to top up our water. There's also some traffic noise since it's quite close to the highway.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer.

Good option if the NP sites are full or on your way in/out of the park

Otherwise not a destination in itself. The campsites were decent but there was no separation of RV and tents so we had the noise of generators to deal with all night. Pit/porta-potty toilets and outdoor washstands - fine if the weather's good but wouldn't have been great on a cool or wet night. Shame that it's more expensive than in the national park with poorer facilities. Make sure to go for lunch/dinner (or just pick up a pie!) at Jacob Lake Inn.
We stayed here in a Tent.
