| Campground with spectacular views | |
It's a campground within a National Park, so as expected there aren't any amenities or even hookups. Having said that, this campground is great. The views of the canyon are spectacular! The campground is also clean and the camp host is accommodating enough. Also, even though they don't have hookups, there are faucets and bathrooms but no showers. There's also a dump station nearby. You can use your generators only at limited times in the morning and at night. There are only five sites suitable for big rigs and they aren't level. First-come first served, so if you plan to stay here, you've got to come early. It's dry camping, but it's worth it.
We stayed here in a Class C Motorhome. | | Comments (0) |

| Spectacular Sites Available for the Privileged Few | |
This is a really nice and quiet campground with lots of shade and scenic sites on the way to the RV lots. The staff and the host working here are very pleasant. This is a very basic campground like most of the others that you will find in this area, which means that there are no hookups here. There are faucets and dump stations located around the campground. While they provide bathhouses, there are no shower facilities in this campground. Only a few sites provide spectacular views of the North Rim, and because they follow a first come, first serve policy, it is best to head out here early to get a lot with a view. My only complaint is that the staff could make some effort to make sure that the large sites are given out to those that have large RVs. It was really frustrating to try to squeeze our huge travel trailer into the lot they provided us only to find a family with a smaller RV unit booked in a space that would perfectly fit our large RV.
We stayed here in a Travel Trailer. | | Comments (0) |
