This was a nice overall camping experience. We arrived around 1:00 pm and were lucky enough to get their last RV spot. This had grill, campfire ring and shelter over the picnic table, and a fabulous view of the lake. The downside to site #18 where we stayed was the fire pit was all the way on the other side of the site away from everything else. The vault toilets were some of the cleanest we have seen. We did enjoy the day. However, the gnats at night were extreme, also they came out the next morning so we left without having breakfast to avoid more gnats around.

We stayed here in a Teardrop Trailer.

This campground is on the hillside of Abiquiu Lake. The hosts were very friendly, the sites were level and he bath/shower faciities were adequate. Cell phone service was available from the top of the hill. Great place for hiking, fishing and best of all - the price is right.

We stayed here in a Class A Motorhome.
