Sunset Campground is centrally located approximately 1.5 miles from the entrance station and Visitor Center in Bryce Canyon National Park. It is a short walk to Sunset Point, the center of the magnificent Bryce Amphitheater, which hosts a variety of opportunities including hiking trails and photography. The Bryce Canyon Shuttle, which runs from May to September, makes one of its stops at Sunset Campground. This campground is open from May to October. There are 20 tent-only campsites that are available by reservation, and 80 other tent or RV campsites that are available on a first come-first serve basis. There is one group campsite that will accommodate between 7 and 30 people, also by reservation. Reservations for the tent sites may be made up to six months in advance for the reservation season of early May through late September. Reservations for the group campsite may be made up to one year in advance for the same reservation season.
